The aim of the course is to familiarize students with photography concepts, combining analogue and digital photography techniques. The course is structured around hands-on demonstrations with the camera, studio lighting techniques and post-processing. There will be an introduction to the history and theory of photography, with special focus on product design. Key concepts will be discussed, alongside technical issues and composition tips. The participants will learn how to use different lenses to address product photography, advertising, online presentations and digital prints.
The second part of the course will present image editing techniques as well as digital rendering of images diverse software packages. The aim is to equip the participants with the necessary skills, tools and media for successful product presentations.
