Eleftheria-Maria Pechlivani
Dr. Eleftheria-Maria Pechlivani is a Principal Researcher Grade B΄ at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) and R&D manager of the Additive Manufacturing Unit (AMU) of ITI from January 2020. She has successfully organized and participated in more than 30 funded EU and National R&D projects. She is the EU Project Coordinator of the Soil Mission E-SPFdigit project, the Green Deal PestNu project and the International Farm to Fork EmergeNow project, as well as the Project Coordinator of the HRFI AISE project and the Scientific Coordinator for 7 NSRF projects. She holds 11 patents and is the co-author of more than 70 publications in scientific refereed journals and book chapters, and she has more than 120 scientific papers at peer-reviewed international conferences. Her research interests include: Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing, 3D Bio-printing, 3D Design and 3D Scanning), Smart Systems, IoT applications with AI functionalities, Sensors and Printed Electronics, Quality Control (in -line, in situ and real time), Metrology, Digital Collaboration and Manufacturing Platforms, Decision Support Systems, in Industry 4.0, Agriculture 4.0, Circular Economy, Heritage/Culture and Energy sector. Throughout her career in research, starting in 2006, she has worked as a research scientist at the Nanotechnology Lab (LTFN) and the Applied Physics Laboratory of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). Also, she worked as the R&D&I manager of the OET P.C (Apr.2016 – Dec.2019), a high-tech company in the field of Organic & Printed Electronics. She was a lecturer in N&N “Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies” - Interdisciplinary Post-Graduate Master Program at AUTh and a Board Member of the Hellenic Organic & Printed Electronics Association (HOPE-A) for the period 2018-2019. Since 2022, she is the Scientific Associate and Advisor at the I4byDesign Competence Center in Additive Manufacturing Unit, a Certified Evaluator at the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI) in Greece since 2021, and a reviewer for several international scientific journals (Elsevier, MDPI). From an academic perspective, she supervises several internships and graduate students' theses from the Polytechnic and Faculty of Sciences, and is a member of the three-member Advisory Committee for PhD candidates, as well as a member of the three-member Examining Committee overseeing postgraduate students' master's theses.
