In the framework of the operations management module, students will be engaged in the management of the process that converts inputs (e.g., raw materials, energy, capital and labour) into outputs (products and/or services).

Subjects covered include the principles of general management, manufacturing, production control, plant management, systems analysis, productivity analysis, cost control, and materials planning. Personal skills, knowledge of technology, creativity and rational analysis will be all combined in order to bring products to market efficiently and successfully.
