Mr. Gary Telaak is a senior automotive designer with extensive experience at the Volkswagen Group, particularly with Audi, where he contributed to the design of key models including the Audi A3 (2005–2012). His expertise lies in advanced vehicle design, concept development, and design strategy, with a focus on integrating innovation, function, and aesthetics. Mr. Telaak has also led the design of concept vehicles, such as the EL.V.O. Aletis prototype, showcasing his ability to translate visionary concepts into feasible design solutions. Alongside his industry work, he actively engages in academic outreach. As a guest lecturer in the MSc in Strategic Product Design at the International Hellenic University, he shares insights into contemporary design processes, studio practice, and automotive design thinking. His participation in academic programmes enhances the learning experience with real-world expertise, offering students exposure to international standards and practices in industrial and automotive design.
