Maria Tsourela

Dr. Tsourela Maria is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the International Hellenic University, specializing in Consumer Behavior with the use of Information Technology. She holds a PhD from the University of Macedonia (Thessaloniki) and a Master’s degree in Financial and Financial Information Systems Management from Greenwich University. She is the Deputy Director of the Postgraduate Program in Public Administration Management at the Department of Business Administration of the IHU. She has participated in European research programs as well as in many regional and national research programs. Her articles have been published in over 50 recognized international scientific journals and conference proceedings. Her research interests focus on technology acceptance by consumers, marketing, models explaining consumer decisions using IT, exploring relationships between perceptions, attitudes, behavioral intentions and IT usage, social media marketing and co-creation of value in value-added services on the internet (social media, electronic banking, e-governance, etc.).
