Nikolaos Kladovasilakis
Dr. Nikolaos Kladovasilakis is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) of the Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) and is currently conducting his postdoctoral thesis at the International Hellenic University (IHU) on 4D printing. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (AUTH, 2017), a Master in Strategic Product Design (IHU, 2020), and a PhD in Additive Manufacturing and Materials Science (IHU, 2023). His research focuses on advanced manufacturing techniques and systems, materials characterization, process and design optimization, and computational engineering. Dr. Kladovasilakis has contributed to 7 European and National research projects related to additive manufacturing, robotic systems, computational engineering, and material characterization. He has published 34 papers in prestigious scientific journals, authored a book chapter, and participated in 18 international scientific conferences, serving as a member of the scientific committee at one. He is also an inventor, having filed 3 patents with the Hellenic Industrial Property Organization in areas such as ICT in products, advanced design, and 3D printing. Additionally, Dr. Kladovasilakis has been involved in 2 spin-off companies of CERTH: Retouch-HS P.C. and OZZIE Robotics P.C.
